Issue #2 Open Call
The Sengkang Sci-Fi Quarterly is excited to announce a call for submissions for our second issue. We’re looking for science fiction stories of all sorts that relate in some way to Singapore, and speak to the future. If you’ve ever written something in that genre, we want to see it.
We are currently accepting short-stories, essays, criticisms, pieces of creative non-fiction and illustrations.
Word Limit
1000 to 8000 words
Fees
Short-stories will be compensated SGD0.01 per word with a cap of SGD100. Poems compensated SGD15 each, and illustrations compensated SGD50 each.
Payment via PayPal. (Other forms of payment can be discussed)
Essays and Critiques are not compensated at the moment.
Deadline
Submissions are accepted on
a rolling-basis.
Submissions to Issue #2 of SSFQ are due by the 20th of March.Language
English (Translations are accepted as long as the original author is the submitter or has given permission for the submission).

Rights
We claim first world electronic rights (text and audio). All rights are restricted to the English language unless specifically stated otherwise.Reprints
English-language reprints will not be accepted.
